Aaron Burns 
Lighting Technician 

Aaron is a Lighting Technician from Newport, Kentucky. During his senior year of high school, he decided to get his education in Lighting Design and Technology at the University of Cincinnati's CCM. He worked as an Electrician for main stage productions and as a Spot Light Operator for the Fall Dance. After his departure from CCM, he continued his education for his BFA in the Design and Technology department at Northern Kentucky University's School of the Arts and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2020. Aaron has worked as an Associate Lighting Designer and as the Lighting Designer at Washington Opera House in Maysville, Kentucky, and as a Master Electrician for the Texas Shakespeare Festival and Commonwealth Theatre Company in Northern Kentucky. Throughout his academic career, Aaron has worked as a Lighting Designer for Chekhov's Three Sisters as well as the premier of Fast Young and Beautiful. After graduating, Aaron went on to serve as the Staff Electrician and later Assistant ELectrics Supervisor for the Alabama Shakespeare Festival.
